Wake up on the sunrise side of Muri in our tranquil Studio Villa, surrounded by lush gardens and ocean views. With private decks, comfy indoor living, and just a 10–15 minute stroll to Muri central, this is an ideal base for couples, budget travellers, or longer stays.

The Space

• Built from solid brick and concrete, keeping it naturally cool year-round.
• Air-conditioning, two ceiling fans, and screened windows throughout.
• Spacious bathroom with open shower, vanity, mirrored cabinet, and complimentary shampoo, conditioner and  body wash.
• 5-metre sliding door opens onto a private east-facing deck with indoor–outdoor flow and + hammock, seating, and 
• Back deck if open-air open-air outdoor shower.
• Fenced shared garden with tropical landscaping and lagoon glimpses.

Location

• Tucked away on a small hill along the backroads of Muri, offering privacy and tranquillity away from the main road.
• A 10–15 minute walk or 5-minute drive to Muri Beach, with restaurants, bars, local shops, and rentals.
• Activities nearby: Te Vara Nui cultural show, Koka’s Lagoon Cruises, water sports, kite surfing, and Te Manava Spa.
• Other beaches (Titikaveka, Vaaimanga, Arorangi) are a short drive away with excellent snorkelling.
• Avarua town (20 minutes by car or bus) offers shopping, galleries, museums, and the Punanga Nui Saturday market.

Guest Access

• Full and private access to the Studio Villa, including both front and rear decks, outdoor shower, and fenced garden.
• Property includes two other boutique units, but your villa is completely self-contained and private.
• Some garden areas and the carpark are shared. Carpark is monitored by security cameras for guest safety.

Getting Around

• We recommend booking airport transfers through us ($25pp, cash to driver).
• Car or scooter hire recommended – we suggest Island Car & Bike Hire.
• Local buses run clockwise and anti-clockwise; you can hail them anywhere on the main road (5–10 minutes’ walk).

Things to Note

• Check-in: from 2:00pm
• Check-out: by 10:00am
• Early/late check-in/out subject to availability & fee.
• Unapproved early arrivals may incur a fee.
• WiFi (Starlink) included.
• For early morning arrivals or late night departures, consider booking the extra night for comfort. Luggage drop-off may be possible by request.
• Travellers from Auckland/Sydney cross the International Dateline – double-check your itinerary dates. We request guests to share a screen-shot of the flight details.

Your Hosts

• Our local property manager will be your main contact during your stay. She’s available for assistance if needed but won’t interrupt your holiday unnecessarily.
